Client X is a financial institution which has advanced funding to their Client, Y. Client Y is claiming that they cannot meet capital and interest repayments on the loan. Client X was unsure whether the client is viable.

BMOL Partners is engaged to carry out an Independent Business review of Client Y’s business. BMOL Partners attended client Y’s premises and was allowed access to the financial statements and the business operation overall. They interviewed the management and assembled the projections for the business. BMOL Partners prepared a commentary and opinion on the various aspects of the business including

• Current state of affairs
• Viability of the business
• Projections or plans on hand  
• Marketing plan for business
• Ability of management and systems to deliver on project

BMOL Partners issued a report indicating that the business was not viable and that the financial institution should appoint a receiver.
