Client L was seeking a legal separation. Her spouse was involved in a large number of investments had complex sophisticated structures which were initially established for tax purposes but now were possibly being used to disguise income and assets. 

The solicitor was requesting information but was receiving vast amounts of data which could not be collated sensibly. BMOL Partners was engaged. BMOL Partners was engaged to examine the information and to establish the veracity of the statement of affairs. The information was examined and tallied and a statement of affairs independent of that supplied was drawn up. Discrepancies between this statement and the one included in the original affidavit were investigated and significant omissions were uncovered resulting in an increase in settlement for the client.
